Vineyard Vixens host Schott Zwiesel wine tasting event

Does the shape and size of your stemware affect the taste and overall experience of a wine? Absolutely. Want to test this theory without making a mess of your kitchen and dishes? On Saturday November 20, 2010, the Vineyard Vixens are hosting a Schott Zwiesel wine tasting event at the Restaurant International at Algonquin College. Hosted by the Grape Guy himself, Michael Pinkus (ontariowinereview.com) the connoisseur of all things wine will be leading the group through the tasting, emphasizing the benefits of using glassware that is specially designed to enhance the qualities of wine.

The cost of the event is $48

Cost includes 4 glasses (2 white and 2 red) from the Top Ten collection of Schott Zwiesel Stemware as featured at Jordash Restaurant Equipment and a tasting of the wines selected by Michael Pinkus.

Not in the Ottawa area? Never fear, Schott Zwiesel and Fortessa Canada, Inc. are currently planning many more events.

If you are looking for something to do in Toronto, make sure to check out the Gourmet Food and Wine Expo, November 18-21 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Taste amazing culinary creations and drink some fine wines and spirits (which would be enhanced perfectly by some Schott Zwiesel stemware!) and have a good time.
