It's easy being green on Earth day (and every other day too!)

Mother Earth, you rock my world. To show you how much I care about you, I have made the personal decision to live as green a life as I possibly can. Although the shift into green living may take some time, I am trying to do everyhting I can to reduce my carbon footprint. You should try it too. You dont have to rearrange your entire lives to go green, there are simple steps that you can follow that will make the world of difference.

 Conserve, conserve conserve!!!

Save energy by turning off lights and appliances when they are not needed.
Switch to energy saving light bulbs
Turn off the water when you are brushing you teeth
Ditch the car. Take public transportation or ride your bike or walk!
Don't buy bottled water. Tap water is just as delicious.
Recycle!!!

These are just a few minor ways to help green up the world. While we all know that little changes can add up to big differences, we need to also look beyond our personal lifestyle choices and consider what large companies are doing to help our environment out. It’s amazing how little things, the ones you barely ever think about, can wind up being important matters. Ever think about how environmentally friendly your crystal glassware is? If not, maybe its time.

“Certified for optimal environmental management, the Zwiesel Kristallglas AG strives to protect the natural environment. Our goal is to consume few resources and to make optimal use of energy in the manufacturing of our products, while simultaneously placing no unnecessary burdens on the environment. The certified environmental management system helps us live up to this responsibility.
Zwiesel Kristallglas is certified within the framework of the ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system.” (2010 Fortessa Catalogue)
But wait, there’s more…

Schott Zwiesel’s Tritan® glassware is not only an environmentally friendly option but it is also lead and barium free, which means it’s a better option for you as well.

Happy Earth Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
