Spirale-Fine Bone China by Fortessa Canada Inc

The Spirale collection is an elegant range of Fine Bone China for the hospitality industry. Featuring an appealing spiral swirl pattern, this unique bone china collection is exceptionally strong and will stand the most demanding of everyday use. The Spirale Fine Bone China is fully vitrified and has a key ingredient, which gives this tableware collection its high whiteness, translucency and strength whilst remaining lightweight.

A piece of Fine Bone China contains at least 25% of Bone Ash, and this compound not only adds strength and white color to the China, but also makes it translucent. Not totally transparent, but enough for the light to pass through it and it's good to know you can quickly verify its authenticity.

The first development of what would become known as bone china was made by Thomas Frye at his Bow porcelain factory near Bow in East London in 1748. His factory was located very close to the cattle markets and slaughterhouses of Essex, and hence easy access to animal bones.

Entertaining with fine china takes your meal from the ordinary to the out of this world

Never made escargot?

Here is a tasty little recipe that will be sure to impress at your next function.

Escargot is a dish of cooked land snails, usually served as an appetizer in France and in French restaurants. The word is also sometimes applied to the living snails of those species which are commonly eaten in this way.
Escargot, IPA: [ɛs.kaʁ.ɡo], is the French word for snail. It is related to Occitan escagaròl[1] and Catalan cargol, which, in turn, may derive from a pre-Roman word *karakauseli.[2] Similarly, Spanish and Portuguese use the term caracol.
Not all species of land snail are equally edible, and many are too small to make it worthwhile to prepare and cook them. Even among the edible species, the palatability of the flesh varies from species to species. In France, the species Helix pomatia is most often eaten. The "petit-grisHelix aspersa is also eaten, as is Helix lucorum. Several additional species, such as Elona quimperiana, are popular in Europe; see heliciculture.
